Man, I feel like a woman!

Well, after what feels like months (it's not really, it's only weeks) of disturbed sleep from Littler, with having him in our bed almost all night every night, we finally had a good night sleep last night!

Littler went off to sleep at 7pm, I went to the gym for a swim and a sauna. Came home starving hungry, ate the super yummy veggie curry my husband had made and promptly fell into bed in anticipation of another rotten night. But Littler sleep all the way to 4:30am! It's a miracle!

So today, I feel like a new woman. I almost feel like I could take on the world. I'm certainly looking forward to another session at the gym tonight.

At last, it feels like we're coming out of the fog of babydom. I've been fighting it for the past 6 months, trying to get our lives back on track, back to normal. But you what? Sometime you just have to surrender to the fog. Fighting it just makes it thicker, denser and harder to find your way out. But surrender and after awhile you realise the sun is starting to break through, the fog is lifting and life starts to feel...normal again.

Boy does it feel good!

ah normality...more of that please!

  1. Well done to littlest. Sleep makes such a difference, I am an ogre without sleep!

Come on in, the water's lovely.
